Emily has always wanted her career to involve taking care of people. In May 2009 she graduated from Capri College with a license in esthetics and is loving her one on one contact with guests of The Sanctuary Spa.
Before going back to school, Emily worked for six years as a medical assistant in family practice for Iowa Health, where she also enjoyed taking care of people. Making people feel good and giving them a place to relax & recharge is her most favorite thing.
Emily loves spending time with her family; husband (Casey), son (Jackson), & daughter (Ava). Being an avid animal lover, they also have a cat (Lola) and dog (Felix). She also enjoys traveling, food and wine, and being outdoors.
